Chimney Rock Farms is all about real world skills and experiences. We are a Research and Development farm that believes in a small "r" but a big "D" approach to innovation.  We offer a Hemp Farming Incubator for entrepreneurs seeking to start a business and gain experience surrounded by farmers who are business people. We do not offer employment but rather a fully functioning farm with world class small farm  infrastructure  to lease at bootstrap rates.  Think of Chimney Rock Farms as a kick start environment to learn by doing building your own profitable business.

Apprenticeship Entrepreneurs

• Apprentices must commit to a 3-month stay and are chosen by the Director of Operations after completing the online internship program. Choices will be made based on test scores, online interviews, work history and fit for the enterprise.
• Dorm Room accommodations are available. 
• Manage and lead onsite volunteers.
• Further education opportunities within the apprenticeship may include: A research project in hemp breeding and propagation, organic fertilization, Integrated Pest Management, animal care and customer interactions plus much more.
• This is a volunteer work study program , not employment .

Farmer Entrepreneurs

The Chimney Rock community is made up of on-property Farmer Entrepreneurs as well as local town employees. 

We informally serve the cannabis industry as a training and certification farm to develop skilled farmers and hemp technicians. We do not promise jobs but can promise the best cannabis companies will have a chance to talk to our qualified candidates.
